Deceptively large, rounded orange granite boulders are a feature of all of the Bass Strait Island, and at Winter Cove they line the edge of the water, contrasting with the crystal clear blue and green hues of the waters of Bass Strait.
One a crossing by sea kayak we were trapped here by gale force winds for four days. It wasn't the worst four days I've ver had, one seriously beautiful place.
